Step 2 - Configuration

When installing and working on the NetConnect Environment, it is strongly recommended that an SSL Certificate is applied. An SSL certificate provides security when establishing an encrypted link with connections via NetConnect.

A valid licence is required for each user in order to successfully launch an application. This section will guide you through the process for applying, assigning and managing licences on NetConnct

NetConnect can integrate with external authentication stores, such as Active Directory, in order to validate users onto the system. In addition, it is possible to chain authentication methods in order to secure your system with multi-factor authentication.

Use this section to create, edit and assign RDP and file access applications. Additionally, groups can be imported from your Active Directory to simplify access management. Local users can be created and maintained within this area.

The system menu provide multiple options for configuring your NetConnect instance to integrate with you network. From here, you can backup and upgrade your system, as well as carry out common maintenance tasks.
